Penshurst village is 5 miles from my home and only 50 miles from central London. I went for a walk on Saturday with my camera and sometimes forget what a beautiful part of the country I live in and how fortunate I am. The castle is Penshurst Place in the centre of the village but most of the area I walked is within the estate grounds.
